Before I transitioned to Arch on my desktop, for about a year I was running Manjaro on a clapped out Microsoft Surface 1. I think I was trying different distros and Manjaro just worked nicely out of the box, so I stuck with it. I avoided most Manjaro-isms, no pamac, just used pacman directly. It

Playing this really shocked me. Spent 15 minutes sidling through the tutorial, which the game helpfully warned me was very important and should probably not be skipped. I felt it was technically competent, with some interesting elements, but it didn't really make sense as a game to me.

Early in the summer of 2025, I impulsively decided I would switch my primary OS from Windows to Linux. The inciting factor was, I believe, Windows mysteriously removing the date from under my clock, again.

Here we go again. This time around I'm trying out HTMLy, which seems easy and convenient. My motivation to get a blog going is mainly a desire to more thoroughly interrogate, discuss, and reflect on media. We'll see how it goes!
